I received 'Mapsource Trip and Waypoint Manager' V4 on CD with the unit.

I always assume CD's shipped with retail units have software far behind the curve so I downloaded 'Mapsource' V6 from the Garmin website here:I installed that however it does not do anything when I run it, just tells me I don't have any maps installed (the mapping download page here: is not responding as I write this).Should I have installed the version off the CD, will it give me anything that the POILoader or Mapsource versions I download off the web don't give me?
